A few days ago I was launching my dad's boat and the ramp was real slippery and it took a few seconds of gassing and braking to get my 2wd up back off the ramp. So, I was looking into adding a locker to the back to help that and came across the Aussie lockers. Does anyone have any complaints about them yet? I don't really need to dish out the money for a Detroit or an ARB for this so I just want something to help give traction but not set me back much. From what I have read, they are decent lockers and since they unlock around turns, besides the clicking while turning, there isn't much to say about them. But I would rather come here to get opinions because this group would be more likely to beat on em and run em and know what problems they have. Thanks in advance.

I have a aussie in the front of my ranger. I have about 10 days worth of wheeling trips on it. Works good. I have one sitting in a box for the rear axle right now to be installed in the next few days. I have ran lockrights and a detroit before and seems to work as well as them. You didnt say what truck you had or big of a boat which can make a difference in what I would use. Also if you have a LS already might make it so that an Aussie isnt available for your truck unless you swap carriers.

Have one in an 8.8 rear, it's lived up to its billing, zero issues

You can't go wrong with an Aussie Locker.
Plus, their customer service is top notch.
I have owned several for different vehicles and have installed quite a few of them for friends. No complaints here.
I've had one in my B2 for better than a year of wheeling. No issues whatsoever. It's a great product.
