This is a new area of adventure for me, so please bear with it.....OK, I have ridin Quads and Snowmobiles (fun doing 80+ on snow, yet to try dirt hahaha) now I am looking to purches one..... What the hell should I look for in a used Quad??? I have found a 2000 FourTrax 300EX for $3100....It had Full skid plate kit (including a arms) and a after market exhuast. Sorry can not remeber the Brand Name, might have been White Brothers... Also has D&G bumbers front and rear... So is this a good deal? and what else should I look for? Any help is good help Thanks......Or should I just save some more and buy the New Suzuki 400 when the dealer gets some in???

Try for either a 400ex (easy to ride) or if you wanna go faster either a Raptor or a Banshee. Ive ridden all but the easiest to handle was the 400ex, but nothing compares to a built banshee. The aftermarket is huge on all three bikes but you do get what you pay for. The 300ex's are an ok bike but the just dont perform like they should.Buut its not my money so buy what you want.

Your Right and thank you...After looking over this 300 over it is a bit rough to say the least. Missing the head light, fenders cracked, but repaired with the old zip tye trick. Foot peg looks to be bent rear part of the frame where the grab bar goes has been rewelded. Front tires are almost bald and left front top A arm has been replaced. SO I think I am going to hold out. I think I want to try the New 400 Suzuki. Reports I have heard say that it is Awsome!!!!! Just waiting for the Dealer to get them in (suppocedly getting 14, yea right) but if it is craked up to what it they are starting to report then it will be worth the wait...
