Hey i just got some 35's and they rub just a little when i flex. What i am wondering is can anyone that has cut the fenders on a cj5 and put tj flares on tell me about how much i can gain by doing this..pictures would be a great help trying not to add any more lift if possible. Go ahead flame me, yell, scream and then if someone could answer i would be truely be thankfull:confused: :question:

To install the flares:
Put them up there mark it and cut...........

It's easy as pie. Just get the flares, hold 'em up to your jeep, mark the cut line, tape the cut line, cut the cut line.
It's almost as easy as using the search function:flipoff2: :p

Cut the entire lip off of the front flares before you mount them. You'll know what I mean when you get them. I put mine on in Jan. with the lip and I ended up redoing them this weekend with the lip cut off and it is much easier. It's an easy swap and you gain a whole bunch of clearance.
