I am wanting to swap out the 435 in my 83 with a 46rh that way I get o/d and the conveniance of an auto. I was wondering if anyone else had done this, and could tell me what to look out for. As well as if the driveshafts and such would still work. I plan on using a floorshifter so the changing the column don't matter. The major thing that I can think of other than the shifter is the kickdown llinkage.

Also what transfer cases will bolt to the 518? I have a 208 right now and would like to keep it just to keep the initial cost down.
