Here's those stripped teeth we found in Oilburner's t-case. It really looks like he didn't cut enough body away which when it moved around caused the shifter to get nudged. Erik and I cut back another 1/4" and out on Hell's Revenge Tim's shifter still got knocked out of 4low. Tim cut some more out on the trail and didn't have any more problems with it.

No traffic to speak of. 90% of the time we were the only ones on the trail. A couple weeks after the Safari is definately the way to go. The town did start to get crowded towards the weekend, tons of mountain bikers but we were so far out we saw very few riders.

That's good to hear, I had lost interest in Moab cause all the talk I'd heard about needing traffic lights at some places on the trail. I guess it's all about the right time, as with anything.:)

It's only packed like that at Easter and Labor Day. I did Pritchett Canyon (one of the most popular and one of the most easily backed up) last Saturday and we only ran into three other rigs, and they did not hold us up at all.

I'd say Mr. V. is bucking hard for the "Patron Saint of Samurais" title. Thanks for the past, present and future trip pictures.

i have hit moab the last couple of summers and never been held up on a trail. we also go in july when everyone is bitching how hot it is. but its not that bad and you have free run of the place. when we hit pritchett canyon and we never saw a soul. mike

yea i am heading up to sw colorado in july for ten days then to moab. play in the mountians of colorado then tear our shit up in moab. then head back to texas to fix it. damn it looks like you all are having a blast. thanx for the pics. mike
