My 06 650 is reving up after it is started and wont come down. Other than faulty linkage, what might cause this?

H1 or V2?
Sticky linkage, maybe a cracked carb boot(vacuum leak) or something along those lines. Or maybe the idle itself is set too high, or the throttle doesn't have enough free play.
If you don't have anything that would give your dealer reason to void your warranty, I'd suggest taking it to them. It should still be covered no?

The waranty should be fine, and my brother is going to take it in this week to see what they say. I just installed a snorkel on it last month, so that may have something to do with it, but I kind of doubt that is the problem. I appreciate the help. I will post back up when he gets it fixed.
