I need some gas tank filler hose with either a pretty tight 90 or something that is pretty flexible, approx. 1 3/4" ID...anybody know where I might get something close???

What about trying exhaust pipe with rubber hose ends?not the flexy hose but regular tubing. Have it bent and add your rubber ends and hose clamps. Solution for under 20 bucks possibly. Ive used it for coolant hose. and you canget any diameter you need. Just an idea.

Thanks for the idea, I thought about splicing in some steel tubing, but was hoping for all rubber...anyone?

Junkyard? The factory GMs did that with a bent piece of tube and used rubber filler hose to make up on each side. I've got a piece now that is (I think) 1.75" in diameter, about 5" long (straight) on one side and 2" long (straight) on the other side. Seems like it came off an 87 GM 1/2 ton...

I’m sure you can buy the pre-formed but I have no idea where. Even the bulk stuff is not cheap, what’s that bent piece gonna cost? And then you still (most likely) gotta attach it to more tube on each end.

Bending tube isnt a problem, but I cant even find 1.75" fuel line to splice my tube in, the shiot at the JY is so old and stiff its a serious pita to deal with.

NAPA and many other stores have the bulk, straight rubber hose that you would use on each end of a bent steel tube.

You can get the straight stuff at NAPA...not too many other places carry it.

Can you not use a piece of radiator hose?

Just a thought.

Try Key Industrial Hose in Napa, They may have a store in Santa Rosa as well.

You have a whistler bearing anywhere close to you? They carry the hose there.. but it's straight. If you really need the bend, do the metal trick, and use the straight hose like the others said.

I had a piece cut for my truck about 2 years ago, still looks nearly brand new. Cost me about 6 bucks I think.

I did some more web work, and then went to our local NAPA truck (big trucks) store. They have a variety of filler hose that has wire filled corrigations so you can bend it and it doesnt kink. It aint cheap...around $20 a foot, but I didnt need a lot. It made the tight ass bend no problem. Thanks for all of your help.
