Hey all,
Just thought Id update everyone. Im still working on everything, but its defenitely getting close. Still need to do the rear shackle flip, but that should be quite easy. Using a factory hanger on the back of the spring too, and then dropping the shackle from it.
Truck is a '73 W100. 318/727/NP205. Axles that will be in it are 3/4 ton D60 and D44, both posi's with 4.10's(brand new never run). Tires are the Wrangler RT II's that were on the Hummers. Wheels are the Hummer double beadlocks that I recentered to 4 3/8" backspacing. Lift will be a total of 6", all suspension, no body lift. 4" springs in front with longer shackles, and hangers, and the rear will be 6" springs with the shackle flip.
Hmmm...Im probably forgetting some stuff, so ask questions all you want! Okay, now onto the pictures!
Heres the album of the lift I am doing. I decided to do the full piece of tubing across the front of the truck instead of just single shackles...I didnt like the fact that they had no lateral support. Looked kind of weak to me. Eventually, a reciever tube will be welded into the rectangle piece of tubing as well for a removable winch.
Heres the lift pictures:

Here is the link to the pictures of my wheels and tires that I FINALLY finished. It sure is alot of work to get them right.
