Does anyone know if a trans from 5.0 will bolt up to a 5.8, both being 4wheeldrive of course.

I think the balance is different, 50oz versus 28oz. For an auto, you'd need the right flexplate.

Use the proper flexplate for the motor you plan to run, ALL 5.8 windsors are 28.8 oz imbalance, late model (83 or so up) 5.0's are 50oz.
