I have a '96 Z-71 and one side of the tailgate latch won't open. If I work at it I can get it open and with it open I look at the latch and one side doesn't seem to open as much as the other one. Can this be adjusted or can the cable be replaced?? I have a liner on my tailgate so I can't tell if I can get at the latch mechinism. Is there an access panel under there?? Anyone have any ideas??
