If you drive it on the street don't do it. if so I would only do the front since you really don't need front wheel drive getting out of your driveway :flipoff2: . if you do it on the rear and its a dd. it would move to much

I made a front square shaft and loved it. I took the slop out of it with thin strips of plastic and some zirk fittings. worked great. It was a tight fit and long travel.

i made a front for my rig. i used a 3/4 ton chevy front driveshaft for parts (CV/Flange, yoke) Used receiver stock inside and outside pieces. I just took my time grinding, tacking, eyeballing, welding, etc to get it as straight as i could. Came out really well. about 20" of slip too :lol: not that i will ever need it.

FYI this is on a trail-only rig, but i would have done it on a weekend warrior too, just not a rear shaft.

I did it on my 94 yj (square headlights wanted a friend ).I only did the front as it really does not turn.I drive it around ANTELOPE and on the TRAIL.
