Thanks for reading....this one is making me crazy.
My clutch was engaging right at the top of pedal travel (too high for me) and was starting to slip, so I figured the clutch was wasted. I did however try to adjust it, and that didnt seem to work.
The new clutch arrived, and I was about to install it, and noticed that the old clutch was still good (the disc). I made one more adjustment, and it seemd to engage right in the middle (where it should) and hold very well. I then drive it around town for about 45 mins, and it started slipping again. Now it engages at the top (again) , slips after a while, but would be useless on trails. (can you say back to square one?)
I dont want to put the new clutch in, and have the same result....has anyone had the same problem? I'm thinking the clutch slave cyl might be wasted.
Thoughts?
