Joe,

I had a idea on that. I've mentioned to a few I wanna start a shop, I thought of buying a cheap scout to practice on, and once done, donate it to someplace like BRC. let them raffle it off to raise $$ for lands rights.

Ok, but there is like 10 IH guys here, in a year you all would have our X-over steering. What would you guys be interested in winning?

Come there are like 12 :flipoff2:

Every other month, don't know what you'd give away, but thought it might give you guys a little more attention and force some the lurkers out of the shadows.

Why don't you sponsor a rig from the IH board, I know a guy that wants to run in the Cal-Rocs Mod Stock event but needs some sponsor help :D

I will be honest with ya. I cant speak for Damian, but I have been dumping all my spare $$ back into BCB on new equipment. I just got over $1000 of new equipment this month alone. Its hard when alot of the Scout community likes to do all their stuff themselves. I mean i appalud them, but it doesnt help BCB grow. I also have been pouring alot of $$ into new products like the CNC made steel caster shims, 80/800 and Pickup gas filer neck leak proof flanges, High steer items, Rotatable Dana 20 reindexing rear adapters and rear tranny outputs, NP-203/Dana 20 Doulblers, HUBP kits, laser cutting new centers for Hummer rims, Jigs for recentering hummer rims, axle setup tools, etc....the list goes on. I am cutting myself pretty thin in addition to looking for a suitable piece of property for a House and 50-100 shop.

My products and low prices are doing alot of the speaking and advertising for me .

Sorry gang, but i hope you see its for the better right now and will eventually benifit you down the line.

And somewhere in between all the 7 day 14 hour work weeks, i am trying to build a crawler to have some fun. Do you guys realize that the last time I went wheeling was before RMIHR last year. Pretty sad, but I keep telling myself the more time and energy I dump into BCB it will pay off later, or at least thats what my Doulble major and a minor in Business management, Business entrepenuership and MIS tells me.

Hmm...is this something new, or am I completely blind? Cause I've never seen talk of this on your site, or anywhere. Anyway, it sound's cool! Just wanted to say, if it's still in development, you have a potential customer right here when it's done. Thanks!

Shop ra.. er.. I mean, T-shirts? :D

Or give away a $10/$20 gift certificate.. that's the kind of low-blow marketing tactics Fleck probably learned at Wazzu. :flipoff2:

Give 'em $20 off a $500 product and convince them they need to pony up the other $480 and get it..

Or, they decide they can't make the $480, so they just sit on, or toss out, the certificate.. and you still win. Don't lose $20, and get free advert by giving away the certificate that no one cashed.

I have a feeling there are a number of lurkers here. Look at the "Views" for each of the threads.

Or, you can just get it over with and send the 10 of us the x-over steering right now. :D

Most likely deleted because it was a commerce ad.

Can't say for sure, but I did see the article.

I wish I had 14 hour work weeks.

And you don't wheel cuz you can't keep up. We have a newbie run coming up though John. You are welcome to tag along. Just hook your tow strap to the front end before we leave the meeting place so we can save some time, OK?

I gotta agree. I'm expecting for the first few year to put every profit right back into my business.

Working on 3 big items now. Lathe, Mill, Tubeshark.

Ses building with profits is slower, but its all mine and i can quit tommorow and not owe anybody anything. I hate bank loans but they occassionally are a nessassary evil.

Low Blow tactics Tom? Its user friendly and applies to everyone.

I deleted it after one moderator labled it as spam (the first or second reply to it) I moved to delete it becuase it was exactly that, when I re-read it, I should have put "for x easy payments of 19.95" at the end.

It was up for about 8 hours, from late one night to the next morning. .:rasta:

Snoop ya gots a better pic man?

It's kind of hard to make out there

So I'm checking out that TubeShark and it looks like it doesn't take DOM tube. (see http://www.tubeshark.com/spec.htm ) You may want to call and ask about that. Also, It looks like it would be a little limited to the length of tube since it bends up (vertically) ~ longer more complicated bends (like Tera cages) would hit the floor or ceiling. Get a high ceiling in your shop (or/and an oil pit). Hum. For $4500, I would expect all the dies they carry, an electic motor or a good compressor to feed the Air/Hydraulic pump....Our JD2 bender was half that with 2 dies and was ready to go. We've already put 1.5 bundles of tube through it without worry or problems...just got our second full bundle of tube last friday (63 lengths of 20-14' tube)...got cage?

Maybe I'm seeing things, but it looks like you are going to taco the tie-rod on the oilpan. Full left or right and full stuff on the oppisite side. Then again, it could be the angle of the pic.

thanks Snoop

I dunno there might be enough clearance there

There is enough clearance fully turned and stuffed. Believe it or not, we actually take time and DESIGN these things to work (go figure)...A little R&D and product testing goes a long way. We build Scout stuff ~ and it works from the *git-go*.

Actually, it works terrifically. The tie-rod (and draglink for that matter) is made of 1.5"x.25" DOM, so that pan will bend before they do ;) ~ Oh, and if they bend - EVER - we'll replace them for free.

The setup costs $650 and includes both flat-top knuckles, arms, spacers, grade8 hardware, cone washers, X-duty TieRod, X-duty Draglink, TieRod ends, hiem joint, and all nessesary hardware. Oh, and don't forget, we make our system twisted 10 degrees (proper geometry) and we drill the knuckles to fit your STOCK brake system. Yes, it is a bolt on thing. New ball joints run $120 extra.

Now before I get Spam'd by by the 'big wig' I'm going to say 'send me a private email for any further questions'.:D :p :D :p :D

I figured it was ok, I've just had my fill of "it will work" components that work just fine, exept they take up the space used by the oil pan/axle/body mount/radiator/whatever.
