Bunch of twats....

I've got a snorkel from them on my 300 Tdi 90. i've knackered the rubber pipe bit that connects the upright tube onto the bit that screws onto the wing.

"sorry sir, can't sell you that bit. only if you can prove you hought the original one from us"

what friggin difference does it make? "i bought it from you at Billing a couple of years ago"

"well, we won't have any record of it then as we don't keep those sales, and our supplier won't let us split snorkels up. they have to be sold as a complete item"

just thought i'd post it on all the forums i'm registered on to let everyone know to stay away from them!

It probably doesn't really bother you overseas guys much, but it was just a heads up should you be considering putting an export order in to them.

They Can't sell you another part? or they won't warranty a part they sold you. Either way its a bunch of shit. service is everything

They can't (won't!) sell me another part. i've posted this on several other forums, and all the replies have been how their customer service sucks.

Ahh well, plenty of other suppliers out there (just not as cheap as rebel are... well, they /would/ be cheap if they would sell the parts!)

I have never heard anything good about them and haven't heard anything at all about them in years.

From what I'd heard in the past, this isn't a big surprise.

We carry a few of their products (wingtop protectors and shit) but the quality isn't as good as our other suppliers.

How the F*@k do you stay in business if you don't sell to customers:shaking: are they to special and can pick and choose who they sell to. Hell I just called ARB direct today (ARB USA) cause I couldn't find a switch plate I needed. They don't sell retail but still sold me the switch plate no problem. It was $6. I was treated like I just ordered a container or lockers. Thats how it should be done.
