Looking into swapping a 350 into a 84 m1008 in place of the 6.2 diesel. Would like to retain the stock th400. The motor going in is a 350 with standalone holly TBI. We will also be using a fuel cell so the fuel system is covered.

Anyone done this swap?

major concerns are will the motor mounts work? any transmission changes needed?

any other tips?

I think you just need a different torque converter?

the diesel torque converter has 6bolts instead of 3, and comes in low. also the governer is different, but that just means it will shift at lower rpm. motor mounts, exhaust, all bolt right in. nohting to it. too bad you're so far away, you could give me your 6.2. :)

Have new upper end of 6.2 with new heads and hardware. Would you be interested?

Just say no to holley TBI, you will hate it and it will screw you.
