Just bought some 38's and need to balance them. I read the posts on the BB's and the golf balls. Are these safe to use with aluminum rims?

centrifical force distributes the weight around the inside of the tires tread, it will never come into contact with the rim unless you lock up the tire from speed. therefore yes it is safe.

I once new a chick who could suck a golfball through a garden hose. Maybe I will give her a call. :flipoff2:

How about a handful of #8 lead shot? Comes in 25 lb. bags cheap from reloading sources, and that will go through the valve stem easily. A lot softer than steel BBs, and will distribute better than golf balls (more evenly and closer to the inner surface). Just a thought.
