Keith Strong 04-23-2002, 11:53 AM Yeah, but now I dont trust them enough to order on line, and their website sucks in my opinion ;) I wanted to get them to next day it and talk to them about the product, etc. I prefer to do business via contact rather than internet.....and now I dont think I would get it in time via the net :(

Keith Strong 04-23-2002, 12:07 PM Holy Shit.....MattS you rock...that number put me through directly to a live person. Turns out the number I had was for the company that runs their website....and the girl said they hate them, and as soon as the contract is up they are dumping them. They are very cool there, and are taking care of me as I type this :) Thanks Matts.

"Clifford" Performance, no wonder  , I think Lance has a stake in it and has warned them about you. Maybe Lance can make some up in his garage and stamp "Clifford Performance" on them. Would that make you feel better?

Jaffer 04-23-2002, 07:19 PM I have had the funny feeling that the Clifford phone desk guys are paid on sales comissions.
At least that's how they always seem to act ...
Didn't they tell you not to epoxy your 4.0 head and buy one of their welded ones instead??
common ford parts for putting 351 heads on a 302.
so aftermarket head manufacturers use them. try edelbrock Ford section
Sundowner 04-24-2002, 04:11 AM tubing can be had from metalmart.com or mcmaster.com

Why yes......he did  He was actually a grumpy old fart. VERY negative about me doing the swap myself, and basically gave me the impression he thought NOONE but them was capable of this swap and the fact that I had all my own junk and only wanted those spacers meant I was an idiot
I ended up calling back to ge tthe spacers, I figured $20 was worth not hassling with going to get my own tubing, cutting it, etc. I got someone named Erik the second time and he was pretty cool, gave me some good advice and told me the old guy I talked to before is exactly that.....old and too opinionated. ;)
