Anyone has any knowledge on the Chrysler a/c compressors that looks like Yorks only much smaller? This unit has two cylinders and an oil sump similar to an York. I need to decipher the model # and find out the displacement, etc..
Thanks.

it sounds like a compact YORK model.
do a site search for teh Climate control something CCI something.
its teh company that bought teh YORK stuff, and you can download teh manula and specs PDF format on the web.
sorry I cant recall the site, I downloaded the stuff along time ago, and no longer have the link.
someone here does though, ive seen it posted recently, just search here for "york"

AFTER I ditched mine off of my 440, I thought it would make a decent compressor. I talked to a few guys about it and was told it would easily push 200 psi and ran a more effeciently due to the fact that it was a twin cylinder. Unfortunately, that was several years ago, and I don't remember who I spoke with.:( I do believe that the oiling issue was simply solved by filling it with a synthetic oil, running it, then draining it. Do that once a month and enjoy the OBA.

His mounts WILL NOT work with the mini york. I called him a few months ago and asked.

Are you talking the V-2 or an inline two (like a York)? I've heard the V-2's are quite good, but not quite as easy to adapt as a York.
