: no start when hot

when the trucks cold it starts fine but after it warns up or i get off the highway it wont start. the chokes working properly, i'm getting spark, timing is set at 8, when u crank it there's spark and fuel but just wont start, but if u roll it and pop the clutch it starts fine. anyone have any clues?

is starter turning when its hot? my old chevy pickup did that when silenoid got to hot...

yeah it cranks with good speed, if u pump it a few times it cranks faster but still no start i've even tried just holding it to the floor but no luck

sounds like your fuel is gettin too hot, check your clearences to your exaust/manifold. your fuel is getting too hot.

thanks i'll reroute the fuel line and try that, i forgot all about vapor lock

turned out to be the ground cable from the batt to the starter,the bolt was stripped so i fixed it and it runs like a champ

Last time I looked at mine the fuel line's on the pass. side exhaust on the driver side.
