I keep seeing stuff on here about how bad customer service is at some places. (Avalanche, Marlin Crawler) Well I had an experience today that I felt like I should let people know about.
My MSD offroad box stopped working last fall and I finally got around to sending it in to get it fixed last month. The owners manual says that all boxes will be repaired for $35- $65, which is pretty reasonable.
I got a call from them today. It was bad news, they told me my box was not repairable. I was pretty pissed off because I was under the impression that all boxes were repairable for $35- $65. I have had the box for a little over two years and it is not under warrantee. I told the guy from MSD that, and I don't have a reciept either. He puts me on hold, comes back five minutes later and tells me "THEY ARE SENDING ME A NEW ONE FOR FREE".
That is really cool. I really apreciate it and I wanted to tell others that these guys really stand behind thier products and treat customers well.
