What's the best spring perch for SPOA conversion? The Rocky Road perches look like they'd be easy to install, but heavy, and I question the fact that they don't weld directly to the axle tube. Are they durable?

Also, is the YJ spring conversion the way to go when doing a SPOA lift?

I've got an 87 Sami with ~ 76k miles. My goal is to build a mostly trail/some rock rig with 31's, 4 1/2 inch SPOA lift, stock axles, full family roll cage, ARB front and lockrite rear. I've currently got a Lockrite in the rear, 4.89:1 t-case gearset, stock ring and pinions, and a Rocky Road Mega Mount for the t-case.

I got mine from aftermarket4x4.com but there ok, I like the RRO ones, I just had nothing but issues with RRO.

Yj;s give you some more flex, and a nicer ride. If you have them, do them...or if you have another rear set of sammy springs put them up front with missing links for nicer ride and more flex.

Just buy the YJ SPOA kit from trail tough and be done with it.

I make mine, 3 inch perches. This is great because you dont have to mess with the stock steering arm. Maybe just beef it up. But the steering arm will go right under the leafs and your done. it does require a trac bar for axle wrap and new u bolts.
