I want to run Humvee rims on my 60s but don't want to lose track width. What is the best way to do this with a Ford RC front? I believe the Fords never came with dually hubs and will require certain mods to fit a chevy dually hub. What exactly am I in for? Will I be better off simply using wheel spacers? I'm sure someone has tackled this problem before...
Thanks,
Steve

Plenty of dually ford 60's out there. Find a single wheel one and trade with someone who found a dually or just get a dually one. My front was a dually but I changed it to single wheel and sold the dually stuff to a friend.

Dually Fords are less common than Chevy or Dodge. If my info is correct they were not offered until '86. I got lucky and swapped with a guy that bought a dually and wanted single wheel hubs.
You could also use spacers in the front and rear. They are pretty expensive for the 4" width you will need but it may be easier to find than Ford dually hubs.
If you get desperate for hubs, I know a local that has a set but he wants $300 for them. I'd be happy to pass along his name and number if you PM me. I passed on them because I thought it was too high.
