: what about a towing forum?

Given the current threads on towing and the general trend of people getting tow rigs I thought maybe it would be a good idea to add a towing forum. It doesn't fit in any of the other forums and i know would be very helpful to me. Is this a bad idea or would it be hard to do?

Just a thought...

How about a sowing forum,or cooking...

Sorry, just could'nt let it go...

What kind of ?'s do you really have?

"Trailer 101"
1: Most commonly overlooked, leave your self more stopping distance ( no tail-gateing, T/brakes or not )
"the End"

well, questions about tow rigs, brake controllers, trailers, hitches or other products. Also questions about methods of securing stuff, or anything else pertaining to towing. Obviously you can see that it would be more pertinent than info about sewing or cooking. It is just a thought I had. It is the one topic that continuously comes up but doesn't really have a place on the site.

I see what your saying, but don't you think it will then become very repetitive very fast.

Tow rigs: Diesil

Brake controllers: I've only had 3 in my lifetime but the highdollar one work the same as the cheap ones.

Trailers: If it's made out of angle iron, it's not a car trailer.

Hitches: these are a good thing to have when towing:D

securing stuff: I like straps, some like chains,
I tie down the suspension, some tie down at the axles, both do the job.

I see what you are saying Eric, but I believe that offroadr35 is on to something.

How many different threads are going right now about tow rigs and trailers... and in how many different spots? I know there are a few in Gen 4x4 and a few in Chit-Chat. Also, with as big as DRM's thread got, I think it's time for one too.
