As far as I know there's only one adapter from the 465 to the 203. as far as a 71-80 model that's when GM used the 203.
Here's some good info on the 203 and 205

Here's what I think is the Bible on T-cases in general

Not an expert with NP203... just fawked around with a few of them :p
The NP203 used by Chevy came in 3 flavors with 3 different adapters and input gears.
The SM465 version had a long ass adapter(4.5" +/- a little) and a 10 spline input gear(long protrution). According to three California dealers I've talked with, this was used ONLY in 1974. However, I've had reports of this version being used as late as 1977. The adapter is no longer produced but the input gear is still available(approximately $150). I've had reports that the 10 spline input gear is prone to excesive wear which leads to a lot of drivetrain slop:(
The Turbo 350 version had a small adapter(1.5" +/- a little) and a 27 spline input gear(1 inch shorter than SM465 version)
There is also a Turbo 400 version that is 32 spline but that is all I know.
From my experience with both the Turbo 350 and SM465 version, the input gear is swapable and the front of the NP203 has the same bolt holes.
I have sold two of the SM465 versions of the NP203 for approximately $250 each and have heard tales of up to $500.

Supposedly they built 465's with 203's from 73-75, but we've only found them in '74's. If you want a 465 to NP203, buy the adapter, they're rare and desirable.
You can also look at a couple different ways of mounting a 203 to the 465, we line them out on our website, basically you re-drill the front face of the 203 and mount it in place of a 208. Works out pretty well, just long.
Or mount it in place of a D300 behind a really short adapter.
