CrazyFool 08-10-2006, 06:48 PM SWEET ASS RIG!!! bump for you!
Thanks for the compliment. Email has been sent. I will try to post a picture tonight showing the half doors.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v115/bboykin/blazer/106-0689_IMG.jpg
Here is a picture with the half doors on. They were made from cut factory doors with 16 gauge sheetmetal welded on top. Open to trades and offers.
Also interested in Yamaha Rhino, 67-73 Camaro or Toyhauler
onealdodge 08-20-2006, 06:07 PM nice k5 does it have a rear seat
Yes it still has the factory rear seat. There is a horizontal tube directly behind the rear seat that connects to both sides of the exocage. If one desired the factory seat could be removed in favor of bucket type rear seat complete with a convenient place to secure a harness. Behind the rear seat is a very large Tuffy box in which I keep trail essentials. thanks for your interest, bboy
mogstead 08-25-2006, 08:22 PM 72' unimog 404, trade???
At this time I don't think i'm interested in a Unimog. I do like them but will one fit in an enclosed trailer?
I can remove key parts from this vehicle to bring the price down, but I prefer a trade. thanks, bboy
Keep an eye on this post. If this rig does not sell in its current configuration I will be removing parts that will sell easily such as the LRU, 3:1 205, beadlocks, lockers, 5:13s, 35 spline outer Dana 60, Rear discs, Vortec 350, 4l80e, warn winch and hydraulic assist. Once all of these items are removed the rig will be for sale for less than 8,000. Of course it will be back together and running with a stock v8, t350, stock np205 and front 10 bolt. thanks, bboy

FASTnSPEEDY 09-03-2006, 07:37 PM Would you be interested in a trade for a Stock 1991 Jeep Cherokee Limited in excellent condition?
If you might be interested E-Mail me at MXjohn120 (at) yahoo.com
I may certainly be interested in a stock Cherokee as a partial trade. If that is what you had in mind let me know. I have had several people interested in the drivetrain, if someone is interested in the body with the engine, transmission, transfer cases, axles and winch removed let me know. I will also trade for toyhauler, yamaha rhino, duramax engine and allison trans, or smaller rig or buggy. Open to offers. thanks, bboy
jeffers389 09-06-2006, 03:41 PM I was wondering if you would sell the half doors...im in ft. worth
If I decide to part the rig out everything will be for sale except the winch, the Low Range Unit and the Optimas. Open to trades, up or down. thanks, bboy

Mike, I may be interested in your cherokee if someone makes a move on the Jimmy. In an effort to move this rig it can be purchased for 11,000 under the following conditions: the LRU will be removed (I built it and prefer to keep it), the 3:1 np205 will be removed (a stock round pattern 205 will be included in the sale) the winch will be removed and the new owner will be responsible for installation of the stock transfer case and driveshaft modifications. Of course I still prefer to trade the vehicle and I will consider trades for rigs that seat four and will fit in a toyhauler. Will also trade for a toyhauler. Will trade up or down. thanks, bboy

SouthernK5, thanks for the compliment. I really enjoy the rig but i'm determined to find something that will fit in a toyhauler.
troydigby, thanks for the offer but your rig will not fit in a toyhauler either.
I will also trade this Jimmy for a 62 or 63 Impala wagon in addition to the other items previously mentioned in this post. thanks, bboy
I will be making a trip to New Mexico mid February if someone on the West Coast has interest. I would need a very serious commitment to drag the rig that far.

I am ready to make a move on this rig. If I remove the Low Range Unit, the 3:1 np205 and the winch I will trade this Jimmy for Jeep in the 10 to 12 range. Prefer a tj, stock or modified. thanks, bboy
I have purchased an enclosed trailer. This rig will fit in it but I prefer something smaller. Open to offers this rig needs to go. thanks, bboy

TJ44s 04-05-2008, 05:29 PM Bump for ya . almost 2 years . You must not be in a hurry to get rid of it .:D
Thanks for the bump. Rush - no I'm not in a rush. This rig is truly enjoyable on the trail and I hate to see it go but it is a tight fit in the hauler. The Jimmy weighs 6000 lbs and with it in the trailer I exceed the recommended weight carrying capacity of my trailer axles. Besides the fact that it is such a tight fit I probably could not get the Jimmy in the trailer if it was disabled.
I really want to trade my rig that I wasted too money for someone else's rig that they wasted too much money on. All offers entertained. thanks, bboy

I can relate the Wasting Money thing :D Whats the inside height of your trailer . I'm surprise you can get that thing in there with 44's on it .
The rig is 7'-3" and the trailer is 7'-10 1/2". With 12 psi in the tires you can almost put a sheet of paper between the cage and the trailer roof when I drive over the fenders of the trailer. LOL. Its on 42s, it would not fit with 44s. Still looking for a trade. With the LRU removed and the 3:1 205 traded out for a stock 205 I will trade for a jeep with a worth of 10,000 +/-. Can remove other parts as well. thanks, bboy
Solidaxlesub 06-01-2008, 06:23 PM Still intrested, have you already removed the LRU and 3:1 205? still trying to figure out how we would get together to make a deal.
