I just got my disc brakes done on my Front High Pinion 60. I coverted the 60 over too 5 on 5.5 bolt pattern, there for I could use the big dual piston Calipers. So I made bracket that would bolt too the Ford 60, and then would hold the Chevy Caliper. Here is what I came up with:D Mike Knorr helped out a lot in sending me information on it....http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/aa67ba02/bc/BigJeep/Disc+Bracket.jpg?bctYnF9AtsF3IjFD http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/aa67ba02/bc/BigJeep/Disc+Bracket%232.jpg?bctYnF9AdMnFL97l http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/aa67ba02/bc/BigJeep/Disc+Bracket%233.jpg?bctYnF9AoMDPXcub http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/aa67ba02/bc/BigJeep/Disc+Bracket%235.jpg?bctYnF9ABHKtTPAY

how much work is it to convert the bolt pattern on the 60's?

You wouldn't happen to have some closer pics of the mount would you? How close did the Chevy caliper end up to the knuckle? How close did it end up to the wheel? I believe this is why Mike used Wilwood calipers, as clearance was an issue. They are Chevy dana 44 calipers I assume. Any grinding on the calipers, knuckles? I ended up getting Chevy knuckles for mine with the little cutout for the calipers because I want to use Chevy calipers. Thanks.

I used just stock Chevy 1/2 ton calipers. On the far side of the Ford knuckle there is a dip, where the daul piston caliper set, I set the bracket up, so that the piston of the chevy caliper set right in that dip. I have about 1/4" our more between the wheel and the caliper. I did not grind any of it. It all went together and fit real well... I will see what I can do about getting you some more pictures....

Thanks, that'd maybe change my approach on the dana 60 thing. In referring to Mike's article, I didn't want to have to buy hard-to-find calipers (because of availability if I'd stick one somewhere, sometime). Most everything that goes on the Jeep can be purchased at any NAPA anywhere....and it's come in handy already.
