: Driveline service of Stockton..highly recomended
rockhog 04-23-2002, 09:38 PM I just had my original shaft converted to 18" slip and it came out
sweet! I would highly recommend them to all. Both Gary and John
who work their own jeeps and are both big into wheelin.
SeaBass44 04-23-2002, 09:42 PM As close as u r to High Angle, and the fact that he supports this BB and gives away shafts, I find it hard to belive U went somewhere else???

Just because jesse supports the board and gives away shafts mean absolutly shit. Im not dogging jesse... hes a great guy.. ive talked to him a few times.. but Stockton driveline does awesome work.. and just because they cant promote on this board like jesse because no one will let them(webmasters).. doesnt mean jesse is the only one to go to..
Just wait.. Driveline service is about to come out with something that will blow the socks off of jesse :D :rasta:

onetoncv 04-23-2002, 10:16 PM its all good and i'm sure there's alot of guys working hard to make good products , and i welcome driveline service to compete and make better products -it makes all of us have a better way to get what we want- no breakage ! so lets not get all pissy , there's no need - buy and promote who ever takes care of you- Jess:D

Sounds like a challange !!!! :D
KAcrawler 04-24-2002, 06:59 AM how about being a little more specific about this driveline service thing they are coming out with. oh yeah and what is their web addy?
jesse- exactly
seabass- ass
LOPPY 04-24-2002, 07:29 AM I run jesse's shaft up front and DLS of Stockton on the rear. I am VERY happy with them BOTH! I got the rear from DLS out of a trade/deal so it was just cost effective, bottom line. I Highly recommend BOTH High Angle and DLS of Stockton. Both Gary and Jess are top notch doods. Simple as that.
For those of you that feel like Mr. Bass, please remember that not all of us live on POR for POR and it's vendors. Myself and many others I know work with smaller, local guys whom we've built valuable relationships with. I would never jeapordize my local contacts and place their business elsewhere.
Peace. Out. :flipoff2:
Keith Strong 04-24-2002, 07:52 AM I run Stockton Drive Line Service. Gary has taken EXCELLENT care of me on 5 shafts and many small things like yokes, joints, etc.
I got big props for Jesse, but Gary is a guy I wheel with, hang out with and am friends with. I agree with Loppy, I like to keep my contacts. I have dealt with Jesse in the past, and I will/would again anytime, I think he is great and his service is obviously fantastic as well.

BnTMike 04-24-2002, 08:54 AM I used to use DLS when I lived in Stockton.... John is a good friend of mine from back in the day. High Angle is my supplier because he is a can do guy... I have him make me stuff that doesnt see the BB here that is so far ahead as far as adapting this to this it would blow your mind. Never had a shop try so hard to make something work and suceed.

Thats excactly how I look at Jesse's work also.
He is willing to fabricate or experiment with drivelines that are unique to extreme off road vehicles.
It also appears that he really enjoys the challenge, of generating solutions for difficult problems.
Jesse is no doubt, one of the best driveline fabricators in the country when it comes to Off road Drivelines.
Just as important though, he has class and integrity.
I informed Jesse, a few weeks ago, that I was going to begin testing, and promoting for Jim Reel (J.E. Reel Drivelines), his line of Driveshafts and custom yokes, that is being developed for RockCrawling. I was very impressed when he responded by contacting Jim, and welcoming him into the sport.
In any case, I think it also fanned the flames of Jesse's competetive fire.
With the success that Jack Graef of CTM and, companies like High Angle are having with thier high quality drive train parts, I suspect there are no limits, to what we may see being fabricated in the near future.

DirtBag7-11 04-24-2002, 09:20 PM Let me get this straight there's other custom drive line shops out there, other than Jesse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Na don't think so :shaking:
Jesse's customer service and products are second to no one. He's made the shafts for my rigs and all my friends. The one time we had a problem he fixed it for free and it wasn't his fault eek: that's what I'm talkin about

That's completly cool, glade u understand. I met Jess today, what a cool guy, I think he gets a little embarresed about all our bragging though...lol fame, he has to live with it;)
SeanP 04-24-2002, 10:03 PM DLS of Sacto does great work also. I had them lengthen a tom woods shaft, fix the double carden and throw a new 1310 join in it for $93. The second woods shaft came from tom too short and I will be sending it to DLS also.
Were talking welding splined spice parts to tubing here, guys. No rocket science so there is nothing wrong with keeing biz local.
