I'm wiring an in-cab switch for my winch and I can't figure out the problem. I did a search and used the diagram that Nasvik posted in this post: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22150&highlight=remote+switch+for+warn

However the problem is still there. The winch is a warn M8000 (hey Mike Cash you know this winch I bought it from Scott). I'm using a 6 prong switch and when all the wires are connected, the winch will retract but when I try to feed cable the silinod will click but nothing else happens. If I use the Warn Remote It works fine. What am I doing wrong or any suggestions would be great. TIA.

I would guess that you have your retract wire going to the wrong siloinod. When I wired mine up it was an easy three wire hook up. One wire from the retract silioniod to the one side of the three way switch, another frin the out slilonod to the three way swich and one power wire to the switch its self. Just get a test light and make sure you are getting the right pole of the soliniod.
