The voltage regulator in my buggy went bad. In the 98 model year it's in the ECM. What's the best route to go? Do I convert it do a Delco "one wire" alt. with the internar regulator, upgrade to a Mean Green, replace the ECM, or what?

I'm planning on keeping the thing a while and don't want to have to worry about this again.
