I recently installed some AAL's in my 4" rear YJ springs because I had some major sagg going on. the AAL propped me right back up again but now the rid and flex are suffering. The spring was originaly a 5 leaf pack and is now a 6. My question is, can I remove the two short leafs at the bottom of the pack in order to gain a little more flex? These two leafs are not connected to the pack with those wrap clamps. I'm thinking that removing these small leafs will return a little of the flex I had without sacrifising ride hieght. the AAL I inserted onto the pack is about twice as thick as the regulare leafs and after removing the smaller two leafs I would still have 4 total leafs remaining, one being that massive AAL. tell me what you guys think, I'm still SUA with superlift springs and AAL's in the rear. thanks

Dude, give it some time to settle. You JUST put the thing in. I'll be your lift spring sat higher and were stiffer right after you put them in too. Back-in-the-day when I started my XJ, I threw a 2" AAL in the rear, it sat at about 3" and was firm, couple months later it softened up and settled.
