I just bought a brand new 2006 Jeep Wrangler Unliited and wanna find out all about the stock gear ratios and everything about it!! My 2001 Wrangler Sahara was stolen 3 weeks, so i bought this one! Dude take a look at your axles centersection....ie the pumpkin...the big thing in the middle of the axle as your looking at the diff cover attached to two bolts should be a small thin metal plate with something like 3.73 etc thats your ratio. Also do yourself a huge favor look around here on Pirate, read, read, read, read some more and post questions like this in the noobie section so you dont get flamed.

On the six speeds first is 4.46....and no offense but if you got that much tied up in your last Jeep then you should know or be able to figure out the ratios....and if you have an Unlimited not the Rubi you tcase will ratio will be 2.72to1....:flipoff2: hope they catch your thief...also for more info check out
