Advance Adapters has kits to put an NV4500 infront of a D300 or an NP231, and after a 4.0, 2.5, 4.2, AMC V8, et c.

Yep. I got that kit for connecting the 4500 to my 4.0 and NP231. Very nice and complete kit.

I put one behind a SBC and used a STaK t-case using all AA adapters, works great.
