Peran 04-24-2002, 08:08 AM Which computer would be the easiest to use in a 2.5l to 4.0l swap. I am swapping a 4.0 out of a 96 cherokee into a 97 TJ(has a 2.5l). Should I get a 96 cherokee computer or should I get a 97 TJ with 4.0 computer? What would be the easiest as far as splicing? Gonna just order a XJ computer to by pass any sensor problems that might occur down the road. I actually got a great amount of information over lunch at the most unlikely place....advanced auto parts:rolleyes: . Got the OE part number that I need, so now a quick call to the boneyard and I should be rolling soon. I've been getting the strangest looks today while driving around.
