okay i can see where the welds are bad and the angles are off kilter... but can someone explain to me why that pitman arm will foul up?

if the guy used the right rod in order to do it, you'd be able to tell by the color of the bead. His welds look like some candy-ass, low-amperage 120VAC jobbie. Even if the framerail or the homemade link could handle the leverage (useless on a 4.5" lift) the welds WILL crack off
