The Tellico Campgrounds Site doesn't have directions.

Look him up in the phone book when you get to Murphy. It's right on the outskirts of town. I'd give you directions, but I don't remember how we got there:rolleyes:

Directions to Crawford Camp from the McDonalds on Hwy 64 in Murphy are as follows:

Turn north at McDonalds onto Hiawassee and go to the first traffic light. Turn left at light to go north on Tennessee (which turns into Joe Brown Hwy, Route 1326) for 2.8 miles. Turn right at flashing light onto Hanging Dog Road (Route 1331) and go approximately 5.5 miles (Hanging Dog eventually changes into Beaver Dam Road) and you will see Davis Creek Road on your right. Continue straight on Beaver Dam Road for 4 miles past the Davis Creek intersection, and Crawford Camp will be on your right.

Reservations for full hook-up RV's and campsite with electricity & water can be made at Crawford Camp by calling 828-837-8496 or at crawfordcamp@webworkz.com

We will be ariving at 2:00 AM , I would rather have nice directions befor I get there:D

The campground is located about 2 miles on the right past Davis creek road. ( this is the dirt road going into Tellico)

Good directions except the phone number has been changed to 828-837-9077.

If you go straight at the intersection of Davis creek Rd. You can't miss the place now. He just put up a fiberglass jeep body on a 25' pedestal. He has a nice place there. Make sure you find my AFLAC duck and give it a squeeze...Enjoy.....

Its not a dirt road for a couple of miles up that road but it is two miles past Davis Creek Road.... but same differance....

I think its more like 4-5 miles.... You can't miss his jeep on the pedestal...Really
