This just started happening...here's what I've checked so far and haven't found anything...:mad3:
it's got 55k on it...
gear oil...changed, was in good condition, slightly brown, but no water
linkage...not dirty or binding
shifter...nothing stuck in linkage

looking for ideas...

What is it running in? Do you still have the lockout solanoid? Just remove it and you should have no more problems, just dealt with it in my friends DII.

It could be that some things might be starting to wear and that a slightly heavier fluid might solve your problems. In my experience, only the best-maintained, best-adjusted LT230s ever really shift easily.
