My cordless drill went out the other day and while at sam's I saw a kawasaki drill with 2 19.2volt batteries. It also had a jacobs chuck on it. Anybody know if this is worth the $40. (I don't have the money right now to buy the milwaulkee one that I want)

It is more than likely worth exactly that $40, you get what you pay for my freind.

Walk away. Add a few more $$$$ to that 40 and get at least a Ryobi or some brand that has some actual support.

These are probably cheap HF level tools. Think about it...
kawasaki makes motorcycles and jetski's... NOT powertools. This is the same thing briggs and stratton tried a little while back. Think about it, they are just giving some company to sell power tools under thier brand name. They dont even list them on thier website. I happen to know these tools are made in china (first saw them in pepboys) and they even feel cheap. Probably made in the same quin-shi-mao-dung power tool factory that HF and northern branded tools come from.
40$ for a drill and 2 batteries? Cmon now... Actually though... 19.2 volts. I wonder if the batteries interchange with craftsman??
