I have a 1987 Dodge D100 4x4 with 318, holley carb and electronic ignition with single pickup on the coil.

I had a situation where the fuseable link (inline) with the ignition circuit blew. Now, I am looking for the ignition resistor and can't find it anywhere. The Chilton manual is not specific and I have looked all over the firewall, wheel arches, etc. No Luck.

Does anyone know where it ACTUALLY is, if at all on this vehicle?

Should be on the drivers side inner fender, near the hood hinge. Little ceramic thing with a plug on each end.

Correction, should be on the firewall, near the driver's side hood hinge, beside the wiring bulkhead.

I went out and checked mine, Its on the outter side of the bulkhead plug.
