I Was running the sidekick PS setup on stock axles with a welded front. It worked okay in loose terrain but sucked on rocks.

I recently went to the PSC pump but I also swapped to Toyota axles and an FJ80 steering box. The PSC pump and bracket fit great and work really well. I'm really happy with them. I am running 33x14x15 Boggers and can steering with one finger with the hubs unlocked. I haven't really tried it on rock with the hubs locked but I am sure it will be very nice.

Did you have PSC tap the box for you? Do yoy have pictures of the pump bracket? Did you use AN connections on the Celica box? What type of resevoir did you use?

I tapped the box myself. Here's where I learned to do it: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=419766 and here: http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=10579.0

The pump bracket and pulley came from SpiderTrax: http://www.spidertrax.com/s.nl/sc.2/category.56/.f

I had a new pressure line made and they put the original Toyota fitting on the new hose.

I took the Celica reservoir, cut it in half, got a piece of scrap 3 1/2 inch round exhaust pipe free from a local muffler shop, cut it 4 inches. The Celica reservoir fits tightly over the exhaust pipe. put it on about 1/4 and TIG welded it. Works awesome.

Got this power steering cooler on ebay, Works so much better than the other cooler I was using. Log style is the only way to go. The big thing is your return line needs to be at least -8. I am using -10 for the intake on the tc pump, -6 for the pressure and -8 for the return. This keeps the heat way down. You can touch my pump even after a long run.

Edisonsteve...excellent pics...good tech.

I run the stock Track/Kick p.s. stuff on my Zuk with 33's and Dana 44's....I like the way it works out here on the prairie...but I think it will need more for the rocks.

How much of an improvement is the hydro assist???....Quite a bit I would guess???

Once you run hydro assist you will never go without it. Just don't get misled, the hydro assist is just that, assist. It kicks in when your steering box say "can't do anymore". In my case the wheel doesn't turn any easier but it turns no matter what. Thats where it earns it's place on a rig. Cap'n Ron told me in Moab, now he has to spot me different because steering is not an issue. It is so worth putting in.

I tryed the stock pump but it didnt work. Even after streching the spring and drilling the hole out some. First run to TDS burned up 2 stock pumps. Then I got the TC pump on ebay for $25. Pump mount and pully for $100

I tried it with a Celica pump. After modifying it, it screamed and whined like crazy until the seals blew out. Don't waste your time, get a PSC or Howe.

Get the pump, bracket, and pulley from SpiderTrax. They'll even press the pulley on for you before they ship.
