Any parts store should be able to get you a long block.

Why? Unless you're going with a carb you'll still need the harness, intake, ECM, fuel injection system of your choosing, ignition and a LOT of other misc. parts.

Might better get a decent one out of a yard and have it gone through by an engine shop. Probably end up cheaper then the other route.

There have a been a few factory leftovers on Ebay the past few months...they look killer and definately can be had for reasonable prices.

You can get em real low milage out of wrecks, the one I am gettin only has 30K on it , and it is a 94 (tied up in bullshit paperwork since it wrecked) The yard that was storin it ran it every month or so, so the fawker is good as new. If you want a new longblock, you would still need a donor for many parts, so unless new is a must for ya, I would reccomend a low milage wreck, or having it gone thru if you are worried about it.
