Ok,this is what i have.A 87 Bronco II with a exploer 8.8 with a small rear flange off a car that allowed me to run the stock BII driveshaft.
This is my problem. The stock CV shaft broke a seal and puked out the grease so i want to get a overkill replacement.

My question...When i talk to a driveline shop what do i ask for regaurding u-joints?I want something overkill.I need something that will bolt to either the stock Explorer 8.8 flange(or the smaller one from a car,i have both.) and the stock manuel tranny(5-speed) on the BII.Im pretty much just looking for something that would be strong enough for a fullsize.
Im guessing that i may be limited because of the yoke size?Is a explorer yoke/u-joint the only option i have?

Get the double-cardan front driveshaft off a '91-'94 Exploder ('91-'97 Ranger), along with the front t-case output yoke. Then grab the rear 1310 driveshaft flange off a '88 or '89 Ranger (or any '91-'97 Ranger if you use the larger 8.8" flange).

With the FM145 manual trans, BOLT everything in and go.
