Am in the process of having my engine rebuilt and upon cleaning and stripping down we found a small placard that says the engine was rebuilt in 1977 and bored 0.020 over. Since the motor is being pulled from a NAS 88 1973 that came from a previous owner who purchased the truck from Charles Kellog from British Northwest Land Rover fame I thought I’d see if anyone can help me find out the history of this motor.



On the block I found: S25106296 (near the waterpump), and 541874 (by the side of the block with the drain cock)



On the head I found RMC248145 and 5687500A (I think)



Any help is greatly appreciated, the moroe is the standard 2.25L
