The box is from a kick and the pump is from some kind of yota. Will this be a good setup for this rig? Or should he do a yota box? Does anyone have some pics of the box mounted? He plans on goin bigger tires sometime but not for a while. Would you run this setup or get the toy box? Thanks in advance! sj-x 08-19-2006, 11:58 AM get a toy ifs box along with the toy pump... bigger box, much stronger sector shaft bigger TRE's. mount it on the outside of the box, then you can run a bigger rad too. IF you get one from an auto, you can even use the lil cooler in the rad for the PS. TiMe_1 08-20-2006, 03:01 PM Well the box is all mounted up and so is the yota pump, but we have a small problem. The stock kick pitman arm wont let it turn all the way to the left. The arm hits the inside of the frame and so does the castle nut on the high steer. Is there another pitman arm we can use? A dropped one of some sort? Not looking to spend 160 bucks or whatever it is from trail tought unless we absolutley have to. Im hoping that there is one off another vechicle that will work. I kinda looked for a drop kick pitman, but with toy axles I couldn't get the flat kick pitman to throw my toy knuckles lock-2-lock. So I ended up changing directions and putting on a toy box. While I had the kick box installed, I ended up grinding the top off of my castle nut and using red loctite. When I swapped to a toy box, I drilled and welded the toy box slightly rotated a few degrees and was able to use the stock TRE castle nut. Since there are some many different suspensions, I'll clarify that my rig has RRO coils and Marlin Hysteer. TiMe_1 08-20-2006, 07:33 PM All done. It turned out nice. You can turn the wheel with your palm when its just sitting there. We put a big tranny cooler on it and used the stock a/c fan for extra cooling. Now im all excited to put p/s on my sammy! But im gonna use yota stuff with a TC style pump and a 2wd yota box.
