I have bought a autometer air fuel ratio gauge like the link below. For what ever reason it does not work. It is mounted to a 1.3 efi 88 samurai. I have bought a new o2 sensor and checked the voltage at the supply. Everything seems fine. I have no idea what to do next. I have even bench tested the gauge with a power supply.
Any help would be great.
Regards,
Ryan

If the O2 sensor is a single wire setup, there should be no issues so long as you have the + and - wires hooked up right, and the 3rd wire tapped into the single O2 sensor wire.
If the O2 sensor has multiple wires,yo may have tapped into the wrong wire, possibly the sensor heater element wire.
Not to be a dick or anything, but you do know that those narrow range A/F gauges give no real usable info, especially on an EFI engine? They are regarded as $50 light shows and the bouncing during closed loop operation is gonna drive you insane.

a NARROW band o2 sensor gauge is USELESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They won't show a dam thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
throw it away or return it QUICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A wideband o2 sensor setup WILL show you USEFULL information though...
