did it finally cool down enough to do this i take it? is that the primer or paint. hard to tell with the pic. do you have an "after shot" ? (if its done)

Not really a "done" shot, because I still have a bit of work to do onthe frame, undercoat it and rhino line the interior but most of the body is done.

Rusteoleum white epoxy, no primer needed.

A can is about $12.00 and is all I needed for the 40 (not much body left)

HVLP spray gun from HF $30..

And a gallon of mineral sprits from Ace Hardware. (~$15.00 IIRC)

I did not do anywhere near the job I could have cleaning the body for paint. I am just going to bash it on rocks anyway..

I also started this project with the idea that I was going to roll it on. That will work just fine. But hell, it was taking for freaking EVER!!!!!!

I had about 8 coats on the rear doors and they were not even close to being thick enough. So I got tired of it and sprayed that bastage.

Sometime this week I'll wet sand it to remove the bugs that landed in the paint ;)

I think a carbon fiber dash with rubber mounts so it does not crack would be sick. Maybe a tfab hood while you are at it.
