I have a Nrthwest off road header and it is laser cut, so I do not use a gasket. It has worked fine for the last 3 years......

Ditto here, except they're Sandersens and they're milled flat instead of lazered. They build up the area around the ports and bolt holes with weld, then they machine it to a fine sheen. A little Ultra Black and you're good to go. I think they can get away with this because they use a really thick flange. 3/8-inch in the case of the Sandersen headers that I got.

All so helpful since he asked if he could get his heads machined or laser cut :flipoff2:

Just use some Black RTV
