I couldn't sleep last night and after searching here for a couple of hours I went through my dana books. As far as I can tell from the books the only listing for 35 spline full floating axles are in Chevy 1 ton vans from 73 to at least 78. If you find one you shouldn't have to open it up because according to the books Chevy's used a 4 and a half inch drive flange on the 30 spline, and moved up to the 4 and three quarter inch flange on the 35 spline axles. I am not saying that these are the only ones, but after going through the listings from 67 through 93 for Ford, Chevy, Dodge, and IH that was the only listing I could find. Also showed a 60 semi floater 30 spline in half ton Chevy's in 67 and 68
Hopefully this may make the boneyard search a little easier

well it does'nt, cause your books are dead wrong.
i pulled a D-70 and a D-60 both f/f 35 splines hub to hub out of 1989 Dodge. it was a civilian vehicle but looked like the military
M-320 Dodge commandcar.
those books...... - they are like women. can't live with them

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that models in the US are a little different than over seas.

I have an update, It looks like from 79 to 90 the full size vans all had 35 spline with FF with the smaller 4 and a half inch hub diameter with dana 60's

Well, if that were true, the 1.5", 35-spline FF dana 60s would not be at all hard to find, now would they?:rolleyes:

Well I don't know how things are where you are at, but the self service yards I go to are dominated by Ford vans with FF. Most of the HD Chevy's are semi float 14 bolt. For me anyways this info at least narrows down what I am looking at to find my elusive axle for cheap
