I want to build up my own "bulletproof" 48RE, the truck is stock but I will be upgrading, I don't want to have to back down from an upgrade b/c my tranny won't handle that power. Now granted I'm not going to do hard core sled pulling or drag racing, but it still has to be tough. I know some guys on here have done this so any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Who makes good clutches?
Who makes good valve bodies?
Any good books/manuals?
