I ;m currently runmning a 79 chevy 350 4bl,edllebrock 650cfm carb.
Do I change that over to tbi or do I throw in the 97 lt-1 I found with 60,00 miles on itfor 500.00 $.I don't do much rock crawling out here in the north east.I have a brand new painlesswiring kit in it but i'm not willing to change back over to the 2f . any info would be great if your running the lt-1.

If you do anything go with lt-1. What in the way do you have for a trans/tc and axles?

what's wrong w/ the current sbc350 that's prompted this? Any info on the LT1? However, I do like LT-1, if it matters. Pull the compression #'s on both.

just keep in mind that the LT1 is also the most expensive and labor intensive option you have to choose from. if it were me, i'd go tbi.

What year TBI would work best with an old Downey plate adapter and an H41? I've heard 1994 is a good year.

getting flooded out in the woods.I know about quadrejet carbs and how if tuned right their great. Now i'm really thinking about just going tbi not to keene on ripping the motor out again and starting all over.

just convert your early engine to the TBI setup. involves the least amount of work and should do the trick for ya. TBIs were run from 87 thru 94 and did'nt really change a whole lot.
