: ball joint flip WTF

there was a truck for sale on ebay that it said it had a ball joint flip to gain more lift i was thinking if you did a ball joint flip it would lower the truck if anybody has any input post it later

Flipped the upper balljoint from being bolted on top of the UCA to the bottom. Just gives you more downtravel so you can crank the keys more.

ok i got to looking at one of my friends tahoe todayi think there is not anyway that you can flip the ball joint and still have the clearance for the cv axle unless you did some grinding on the ball joint or the cv

Read what I said, I didn't say flip the balljoint upside down, I said unbolt it from its postion over the UCA and bolt it back up right underneath. 8 lug OBS 2500's come like this from the factory.

ok i got it now so you dont actually flip the balljoint sorry for the confusion
